Current Georgia Tech undergraduate students who demonstrate an interest in and ability for additional education beyond the BS degree are encouraged to apply to their department's BS/MS degree program track. This application is typically submitted during the sophomore or junior year (we do not recommend first-year students to apply). All questions related to this application should be directed to your department.

BS/MS Criteria

Before you begin the BS/MS application, make sure you meet the criteria listed below:

  • You must be a current Georgia Tech undergraduate student in good academic standing.
  • You must select an approved MS path (ex: If you are a current Mechanical Engineering BS student, you can only apply to the Mechanical Engineering BS/MS program.) You cannot use this form to change degree programs.
  • Once your Online Application for Graduation (OAG) for Undergraduate Students is approved, you will be able to continue with the MS degree (if you were admitted). The term you select for the BS/MS application must be after you have earned your undergraduate degree.
